The 2nd Annual Sacramento Police Department Bench Press Challenge is scheduled for Sunday, February 22nd at Super Training Gym. The meet will start at 11:00 am so as not to interfere with our training too much.
This year it will be open to all police and fire department employees in the state. Like last year, there will be BBQ by one of my officers and meet Tshirts.
This year part of each entry will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a very worthy organization which provides support for families of those with mental illness.
I hope to make this meet much bigger than last year. I really need the team's help with spotting, loading, judging, etc. If you are able to be there, let me know. I can't pay you but there will be all you can eat BBQ chicken and burgers and a meet T shirt for you. Thanks!
