Here are the ones we usually recommend. They are all close to the gym.
Hawthorne Suites, Sacramento (800) 527-1133
Holiday Inn Sacramento- Capitol Plaza (877)863-4780
Vagabond Inn Executive (916) 446-1481
You can also get on a site like hotels.com and search for hotels near Old Sacramento for a broader selection. Anything within a mile is going to be close to the gym.
